Ethio-Djibouti relations excelled: Official
The 2nd Ethio- Djibouti Higher level Joint Ministerial Commission Experts meeting kicked off here on Sunday. The meeting will be held from 8-10 November 2009.
Djiboutian foreign affairs and international cooperation secretary General Bedri Ali Akay said relations between the two sisterly countries are beyond the economic and continental politics.
The meting will review the overall activities carried out in the last three years following the first joint meeting.
African Affairs Directorate with the ministry of foreign affairs, Ambassador Kibret Negash on his part said the long standing relations of the two countries have enabled them to develop mutual trust.
The spirit of their relations has laid a firm foundation for people to people ties, he said. The meeting has already adopted the reports and agendas for the ministerial meeting. The meeting will deliberate on political, economic and social affairs on bilateral cooperation including trade, port service and customs, transport and infrastructure.
